On the road with The Registry Collection

The Registry Collection is launching a series of roadshows to reach interested developers in key second home locations across Europe.

The first four events will be hosted by Nick Turner, vice president Europe, The Registry Collection and Fractional Ownership Developments, who said: “We have invested heavily in big global events over the last few years but it’s apparent there is a gap where small to medium sized resort developers are keen to learn more about the fractional ownership model but have not been able to travel to London or the US.

“We have selected specific destinations where high-quality resorts are looking for new models and routes to market for our more informal workshops.” [member]

There will be a series of one-day workshops providing a simple and concise summary of the fractional model followed by the chance to meet experienced developers to learn more in the areas of fractional market intelligence, advisory, legals, sales and marketing. The workshops will be held in local languages.

“This is a low-cost educational day,” said Turner, “giving those with an interest in fractionals the opportunity to talk with those who are established in the market and who are willing to share their experiences and present case studies. We have been encouraged in this by the success enjoyed across the Caribbean with similar style events hosted by The Registry Collection.”

The first event will be held on 7 December this year in County Cork, Ireland, at the Fota Ireland Resort.

This will be followed by events on:

1 February 2011 in the Lisbon area of Portugal at the Quinta da Marinha Resort

3 February 2011 in Marbella, Spain, at the Hotel Puente Romano

15 March 2011 in Florence, Italy, at the Star Hotel Michelangelo. Additional dates are to be confirmed in Cyprus and in the Middle East.
